Here is a 1922 film review for Charlie Chaplin’s film, “Shoulder Arms” (1918). Printed in LIFE MAGAZINE, a popular humor magazine at the time, the classic Chaplin comedy (which had been re-released) was hailed by this critic as “the greatest comedy in movie history”.
