Lovingly ripped from the antique pages of a 1944 issue of Yank Magazine was this short paragraph which laid out all the utterly glamorous happenings that took place within the sun-bleached confines of Hollywood, California during the Spring of 1944:
“In Something for the Boys Carmen Miranda will sing Mairzy Doats… Ethel Barrymore returns to the screen after 11 years’ absence to share honors with Cary Grant in None but the Loney Heart… Rita Hayworth steps into the top spot in the Columbia production, Tonight and Every Night… etc, etc, etc.
