The attached is an historic article from Click Magazine that served to introduce us all to the fashion era we still reside in today; a world in which fashion’s momentum comes from Hollywood, rather than the Avenue George V, or the fashion editors of London and New York. The Grandees of the fashion world were miffed for a number of reasons – the casual air and sunny weather of Southern California dictated that all the glamorous starlets in the movie capital wear only sportswear and as a result the gurus of high fashion back East were having to take it on the chin.
