The Panzerfaust ("tank fist") has been characterized as the first expendable anti-tank RPG, and although there were variants of the weapon in production (such as the Faustpatrone) as early as 1942, the kind in this illustration that were so widely distributed during the Battle of Berlin were the 1944 models.
