That little story has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with the attached article, I just thought you might care to place it in your file regarding the “natural wisdom of children” – although it does support what Gore Vidal wrote about Margaret shortly after her death: “She was far too intelligent for her station in life.”
This small snippet (Below) is about a major event (and a colossal media event) that took place in the life of the Princess in 1955 – when she was told that the man she loved was not suitable for marriage.
