A handful of Christian casting agents and producers in Babylonian Hollywood once sat and mused among themselves: "although there have been a number of celebrated men in the Bible whose undoings were caused by beautiful women - couldn't the inverse apply as well? Couldn't a ravishing face be just as likely to lure a sailor away from the rocky shoals?" With this one thought in mind, the hard working lads and lasses at the Lutheran TV Production Committee set to work and created a television series that offered Christian solutions for contemporary problems - and cast the productions with numerous hotties to gaze upon while the audience pondered deeply about each plot.

The series was titled THIS IS THE LIFE and before wrap was called, thirty years later, numerous nubiles had been cast, Angie Dickinson, Annette O'Toole and a young dashing Jack Nicholson among them. At the outset, the program was more popular than I LOVE LUCY and THE MILTON BERLE SHOW.
